You can bet your bottom dollar that some new rules would be conjured out of thin air if India were about to be washed out of the tournament.

You watch India and think England could probably hammer them. Not one of their batters is on the level of Brook, I’d even take Salt over Abhishek Sharma. South Africa are the team to beat but we all know they’re psychologically weak, so it really is England’s to lose from here.

Before this world cup Sharma's strike rate was off the charts in T20Is. 

 

Yadav could give Brook a good run for his money too. 

 

Brook is a fantastic player, I don't disagree. But I think you've slightly overstating his ability somewhat
