I don't think there's much difference in standard between the teams. It's the poor decision making that has screwed them today.

All the pool stage games where we struggled were in India and the super eights were in Sri Lanka. We nearly lost to Nepal at this stadium.

One good recent thing though is Bethell - seems to be a real find in all formats.

Anyone expecting England to come and roll India over was being optimistic. India would have to have a bad day, batting is so strong in-home conditions. 

Top order had to deliver a big score today and they haven't. Unless Bethell provides a miracle. 

 

Catches obviously don't help but needed the likes of Archer to be better too.

Took a while to get adjusted but now I've adapted to the silence meaning it's going for a boundary and not a fielder coming round to stop it.
