Who is or would be the best in our line up picking from 2 former players..

Starting with the current player, is he better than the previous 2 picks..

Schmeichel ... Shilton yes, Wallington yes..

Ricardo...   Simpson yes, Grayson yes.

Evans...  Elliot yes, Morgan no,

Soyuncu... Walsh no, Taggart yes.

Justin... Fuchs no, Rofe maybe.

Ndidi... Lennon yes, Kante yes.

Albrighton... Mahrez no, Weller no.

Tielemans... Izzet no, Sammels yes.

Maddison... Birchenall yes, Dave Gibson yes

Barnes... Glover yes, Guppy yes.

Vardy... Worthington yes, Lineker yes.

Lots of players missed out/forgotten but these are players I have seen at Filbert Street/Walkers/The KP...

Kasper and Vards have done well to be better than two England legends in Shilton and Lineker!

I love them both, but it’s a tight call!

Banks doesn't even get a mention for some reason!

I did say the list I put up contained players I have seen play at Filbert Street, Walkers & The KP, Banks, Rowley, Chandler, Hines, Gibson etc etc and the list goes on we’re before my time watching Leicester City play football at our grounds.

Would definitelg question your CB ratings

Just my opinion based on players I have seen in my time watching Leicester City play in my lifetime...

I liked Izzet as much as the next guy and he obviously had great longevity, but Tielemans is a much better player if we're honest. He controls the game more and his vision and range of passing are a cut above.

Ndidi is not as good as Kante though.

Love Walshy, but you think he was better CB than Elliot?

Izzet and Tielemans are completely different types of midfielders So I would it's impossible to say one was better or worse than the other. Youri may have more vision and passing range but I can't envisage him running half way up the pitch to put a diving header into the back of the net. Different players , different skills both brilliant for us. Of course then there's Davie Gibson :P

These rating threads are on the whole nonsense all though good fun as players and their contribution to the club are impossible to compare.

(bit of deja vu going one here, ps deja vu Didn’t play for City)

Gibbo was just before my time at Filbert Street, but he was a fantastic player in a City shirt...

I thought Walsh was a phenomenal player - liked Elliot, but Walsh gets in any ‘best of’ City side for me. This lad Fofana starting to look like a contender though

Those who never watched Steve Walsh play for City just don’t get how much of a great player he was at the back or up front...

Not had the chance to see Fofana play at The KP yet unfortunately, bloody Covid...

he was a tremendous player - not sure how we kept hold of him for so long - I think he got big one injuries when the vultures were circling and we managed to put together a decent side under Little and a great side under O’Neil to give him a chance to play in the top flight where he belonged. Upfront in the second tier he was unplayable at times

Our team now is a pleasure to watch.   A squad of great players but although some had shortcomings the league winners legendary status is hard to get by.

You did not even mention premier league winner, Demarai Gray.

What's with the obsession of comparisons? Enjoy all our good players/teams regardless of the era.

At the end of the day it's all about consistency. That's what makes a good player so it's ok comparing previous players to now but consider how consistent the likes of Izzet were and how they helped deliver trophies.

I think it’s just a bit of fun - I enjoy reflecting on all the players I’ve watched - it also often helps me to remember how lucky we are with the current crop!

I'm surprised not to see more mention of Robert Huth. Not the greatest footballer, but as an out an out defender he was imperious. Also, had a significant impact on those around him  -not least Morgan

Not gonna lie, I had no idea who Dennis Rofe was without google 😂

I would say he was one of the first players I remember City signing, came from Orient I believe in the very early 70s...
