Probably too much detail for it to work well

Might be ok if the cups a little smaller so it has the same amount of space around the top and bottom of the cup as the original has

Genius idea tbf if you can make it work.

If you look at most people's tinfoil FA Cups, they've usually got chunkier handles and you always know what it's meant to be. It's the hat that makes it more distinctive. You could probably get away with chunkying up the handles a little bit on that and people will still know it's the FA Cup and aren't going to go "narh, them handles aren't thin enough."

Yeah feared it wouldn't. Too much detail in the cup! Ah well.

@Mark

A couple different versions with different sized cups, the largest one I think is most recognisable.

Small

Medium

Large

Or how about this modification of the current icon?

I've bulked them up a little, see if that works at the correct size.

Quick question, @Mark - just out of curiosity.

If I accidentally react to a post, then remove that reaction, does the person still receive a notification?

Nope. Just your quote notification.
