It’s not that easy. The segregation is the biggest issue surrounding it with also the concourses not clashing.

Also, you’re supposed to give 10% if the stadium is over 30,000 capacity.

No you're not, otherwise United would have to give 7,500, Chelsea 4,200, Arsenal 6,000, etc etc.

It's 10% if your stadium is 30,000 or less, 3,000 otherwise.

Union FS have to try and push to move next to the away fans now surely. A whole block to move more people into instead of the limited space they already have. With the guys in L/K already there the two can finally sing in sync. Now that would be an atmosphere game changer and I’m sure more would move over if they could still stand next to the away fans.

You know kids can sit anywhere in the ground, and not just that section right?

Prefer not to see this, I get sick enough with the L/K crowd behaving like over sized kids some nights, don’t want the whole of one corner or a ground with coked up and Stella up’d morons throwing shapes at each other

If they aren't interested, why would reducing a section make much difference?

It’s the only cost effect area for families and kids,

and also the language is generally (not always) less Fruity

Don't think you would ever have enjoyed going to Filbert Street.

Wow, having to explain that to a grown man 🤣🤣🤣

But this isn't a reduction due to lack of interest, it is to accommodate kids who are at an age where they'd ordinarily have to move like I did over a decade ago.

We are at full capacity now. It's tough to get new fans down weekly.

They should approach schools and offer the kids a fantastic day out bus school trip which they'll miraculously become addicted too like the cannabis that they're smoking and end up as city season ticket holders straight away and for life 👍. They can smoke cannabis in the toilets, everyone else does...

Personally speaking I would be against that. Union FS support has always been slightly different in that it is largely about support for the team rather than songs aimed at the away fans. Plus in the kop although it seems a slog a times you have more scope to get more to join in and make a bigger noise than you would with the family stand.

Campaigned for nearly 7 years for safe standing so to swap places on that would seem strange as I do believe it if ever happens it would be in the SK1/2 area.

All it is is the realisation that 100s of kids prefer to sit in all area of the stadium, the tickets which were a struggle to sell can now be freed up for all supporters. I'd imagine the alternative to this would be to force everyone bringing kids into the family stand.

Loved it but I’m a father of three kids now all girls and thankfully the world no longer accepts that behaviour and I can bring my children to a football game in peace and safety (most of the time)

But that’s my point if we don’t accommodate them quick a whole generation will be lost to the club... expand or risk becoming like a nursing home

There's less kids because parents can't get hold of tickets not because kids dont won't to go !

Lots and lots of kids want to go and can’t. I teach in a primary school. It’s not lack of interest at all. It’s because tickets are like gold dust!

I have a ST with my son who has just turned 18 (his ticket jumps from £150 - £390, yikes!) but my daughter who is 12 has wanted to join us for ages but can’t get a season ticket. She comes to games as and when I can get hold of a single ticket in my block (K1). And then I have to pay for an adult, as it’s a single seat and can’t be sold to a child even if it’s next to me! The lovely people on my row do move along for her if I can get her a seat on our row and we do the same for the children of other STH’s in the same position. These younger siblings will never accumulate enough points for a season ticket until stadium expansion takes place, as they can only attend when there are tickets available in the same area as their parents.

Got to make that new part of the north stand a safe standing section. All of L1 are going to be displaced when the East Stand becomes the shiny corporate stand with the expansion so makes sense for them to go in that area.

Union FS + L1 next to the away fans = best home atmosphere in the country

I know that 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

and if that situation continues we will lose a generation of kids that do want to go

The Holmes Dale Rd end are nowhere near the away end, yet they make a right noise most games.

It's about being organised and people being up for it and not looking at there phones or going off to get more beers.

People can do what they like, but our home support is one of the worst.

When away fans sing at the KP everyone just goes quiet and watches
