Still only available to members? The club would rather us have unsold seats than sell on general sale.

I think it’s more a case of they won’t go to general public now, due to wanting to know where each ticket goes and if the person with that ticket steps out of line the club can remove their membership/ season ticket. Most clubs in premier league operate the same system

They could have opened it up to people with a booking history maybe, but does anyone actually know that other clubs open their away ends to general sale? I doubt they do and it's not hard to see why.

Hope all the people that moan about it being 'impossible' to get tickets are going

That argument doesn’t really hold as even with general sale you have to create an account with full details with a supporters number.

It’s clearly to flog more memberships.

I am not disagreeing with you but it’s true with a lot of clubs

Where are people drinking for this one??

Usually go to the Pride of Spitalfields off Brick Lane. Not a big place and you have to get transport over to the ground but its a great pub and is normally all City fans.

If your an ST or a member  and decide you want a ticket ON THE DAY or DAY BEFORE,  how would you go about this.

I think long gone are the days you just rock up at the opposition ticket office...what's the score with such a scenario?

Nice to see that the club's policy of not selling tickets in the Fanstore, means that they have to stop selling tickets days before the match!

Presumably the Fanstore is open tomorrow and Monday ... but want to buy a West Ham ticket for a Monday night 8pm match?   Sorry, no can do.   Got to stop selling them Friday afternoon.

Besides, who wants to sell out of their away allocation anyway?

Yeah I find this very odd.

I’m guessing you can still do this at most grounds. I wonder how many other clubs are doing what we’re doing with ticket sales.

Does anyone know the COVID rules for this please? Do we need to show proof of negative LF Test?

Thanks

There are no COVID rules for this match and no need to show negative test

Came on to see whether it’s sold out or not so amazed they stop selling them Friday. Was hoping on the off chance I can go through work I can go last minute, but obviously not.

Drop the ticket office an email, and (politely) point out why their current policy of not selling tickets in the fanstore is not exactly helping us fans ... as per your example here.

They're usually receptive to constructive criticism.   It doesn't usually change things, but never does any harm.

Where you based I know someone with 2 spares that will take 20 quid a ticket if you are able to collect tomorrow. Sure he would sell one. Based in East Goscote.

Thanks very much. That’s probably not doable tomorrow as not in Leicester though unfortunately.

👍 sorry I'm not going otherwise I'd offer to meet in London. But I can't get them to anyone attending the match before the morning.

Annoyingly I only saw it after driving from Leicester as well! Cheers for the offer though and hope someone picks them up.

My mate has a spare adult ticket if anyone is interested. Will have to meet in London though.

I can DM his number to arrange if interested let me know asap.
