Just watched his goals, to very well taken goals them, calm and confident. There’s a player there he just seems incapable of staying fit and playing a consistent run of games. Guessing his contract is up in the summer?

Think he signed a 3 year contract in 2020 before going on loan to OH Leuven so think he has a year left

He was not moved on.

He left the club of his own accord to go self employed as a football agent.

The club had no desire for him to leave.

Given the amount of money some of these agents seem to earn, who can blame him? :dunno:

He got sent off but that was ages ago I think.

He's not been sent off since. I hope that helps.

Josh is being sponsored by @_leisureleagues? If he keeps improving he could step up and get a sponsor who’s Twitter name doesn’t start with an underscore.

There is definitely a player in there if he can stay fit, I’d love to see him get a full season loan - and be fully fit all season.

I think he’d tear League One to pieces at the right club.

When you look at that, you can see why Branston has been moved on.

I only have started to pay attention to our loans and youth sides this season, what is the expected benchmark for successful loans per season- 80%? 90%?

I have always thought that loans would moderate-low success rate due to its volatile nature- players age,  different nature of football,  change in lifestyle and temporal nature of all changes etc.  However we had some hits over past few seasons- KDH Blackpool/Luton and Barnes WBA.

Well done to him for throwing himself in there and making the most of the opportunity. Fingers crossed for another good loan move for him next season.

Amazing what confidence can do for a player!

Really intrigued on what we do next. If we loan to a championship club and see what he does or sell to a lg 1

Good thing Kasey with some minutes, but really not a good loan for him with game time. Hopefully he's picked up a bit from training and working with a more physical environment

Wonder if we've found Hurst's level

Hirst will be a far better player than League One, I would expect him to be a top Championship striker, I think the year in Belgium and the ugly fall out leaving Sheffield Wednesday held him back and now he’s finding his feet again.

Fully expect him to be playing in the Championship next season, either on loan or us selling him.

As well as producing talent for the first team, we need to start selling ones who aren't up to PL standard for the odd couple of million here and there, to help boost our finances
