Anyone have any details on how much you get back if you put your seat up for sale?  Do you only get cash back if someone buys your seat etc....

Had this from the club when I emailed yesterday:

You would receive 1/19th of the cost of your season ticket, providing your seat is sold to someone through the scheme.

I'm guessing only select people have received this alert (what with it being a pilot).  Where abouts in the account does the alert show?

Go on to the tickets section of the site, then hover over your name in the top right and click personal details, should take you to a screen that looks like this

I sold my ticket to the Wolves game via this. Someone bought it within 24 hours.
If I understand correctly you only get your money back if the game sells out?

If thats the case then surely folk are likely to just not bother and sling the ticket to a mate or on here

That can’t be right surely if your ticket sells then you should get 1/19th back regardless if the game sells out or not or the club have sold the seat twice and pocketed all the proceeds

The restriction is the resale becomes available at the point of a sell out - you can’t list before. They’ve already sold your seat, it’s pointless them trying to shift a seat already paid for when there’s spares. Makes sense for the club - they give you back £23 and sell the seat for match day pricing at £37 plus.

That's exactly how it worked last season (before covid). No website feature but it could be done by email to the ticket office. This scheme was long overdue and, I believe, is operated by other clubs. Saves having empty seats when the demand is obviously there especially as its illegal for fans to resell even at face value (or below).

you can the money back regardless if the game sells out or not. as long as your ticket is bought by someone else then you get the money back.  they said they will only turn on the resale as long as the game is close to a sell out, which I think most of the games will be. I bet the club hates me as I always email them with questions hahahaha

So do these seats appear as available or you have to go looking at resale tickets?

Mine appeared instantly for sale - you could thus synchronise resale with a mate who wants to buy.
