this. i would go to be add/remove leagues section under preferences and remove most of the other leagues, but that wont take effect till the end of those seasons. if you cant suffer with this ( for however long you have left in the season) might be best to start again with max 3 leagues, see how it is

Yeah good point. Probably worst during preseason, especially given how many leagues I’ve got loaded. 
 

Going to load a new game with just the English leagues and see how I go. The alternative is to use my PC but the whole point is I want to lounge around on the sofa with it

you can do it on steam. install steam on both pc's, and then if both are turned on and signed in, when you go to launch it there will be an option drop down to stream it to one of the pc's

I tell you what, I'm actually really impressed by how many assists, chances created and key passes they're racking up in this position tbf. I expect the goals but it's also quite a creative pre-set for an AMC.

Penalties are another issue that seem to drastically swing and get tweaked weirdly disproportionately between versions over the last few years and I can't quite get my head around why.

 

They're absolutely fvcking absurd in this one. I must have seen about 10 penalties given in about 285hrs I've played this year and I'd say 8 have been missed?

 

I've currently got Gabriel Barbosa in my side, he's got 20 penalty taking. TWENTY!!! Along with 15 finishing and composure. He's missed 4 of the 5 he's taken. I mean, wtf.

Not bought this year's, last year it just felt too easy. 433 gegenpress to victory without thinking. Seems similar this year.

Well after 5 consecutive promotions with Macclesfield, i've been brought back to reality in League two. From walking the league every season to now fighting relegation has been quite a change

 

28k p/w wage budget has me just about breaking even, so I don't see me getting much more in the way of wages to spend next season. Got a fairly young squad though, so we should improve over the next few seasons and be pushing the top end of the table in 2/3 seasons.

 

If one of my players that I sold with a 50% sell on agreement gets sold for decent money that'd also be nice.

It all depends how you're using them. My right back is one of my star players, he plays as an extremely attacking wing back. 

 

My left back is much more defensive and doesn't contribute much at the top end of the pitch so doesn't really get great ratings. 

 

FM has always been very biased towards attacking contributions when it deals up its ratings. Your defensive players can have a fantastic game and never get much attention if they're not grabbing goals or assists somehow.

My Right, Left and Right back back up currently have 35 assists between them.... so ratings are pretty good  

 

Probably the main reason Lyndon Dykes has scored 43 goals and I've just hit March

Mine are still too good and it's because of key passes. My left back plays as a wing back, behind an inverted winger (both on support) and a game recently he got 10.0 making 16 key passes. It's a bit silly.

Not sure if anyone really plays in South America, I usually do a few saves here on every edition. Although I've noticed most clubs in Argentina are a mess financially, so if you're in Europe probably worthwhile keeping an eye out on clubs trying to sell players. 

 

Currently in Chile and I've seen 3 Argentine clubs in administration and most have insecure finances. Only in March 2023 as well.

The new "unhappy with his asking price" dynamic is an alright idea but it's really fvcking stupidly implemented.

 

Player's guideline value is 4 - 6 million. I offer him out for 5.5m. Two clubs immediately (as in, one 'Next' click, two in-game hours) bid 5.5m, so if anything it was probably a little low.

 

He's kicking off furious that I've listed him for an unrealistic amount. What?

I find it pretty frustrating...I had a Swiss u21 international playing for me in the Conference. He was unhappy I didn't accept 12k for him, so I said I'd sell him for 250k which seemed fair. He came back saying he felt he was 20k. I wish I could have said "well why am I paying you £1,600 a week then?!"

Anyway, I refused to sell him. Sold another lad for 300k and he's now worth between £7-12 million because he's playing for Norwich. I have got a 50% sell on though.

 

Like you say, it's a good idea, but it definitely needs tweaking with.

So does the "wants more playing time" demand when it comes to the mid-season break for the world cup in Qatar.

 

This is the second or third edition of Football Manager now that's had the Qatar world cup in mid-season, you'd think by now they'd have coded a fix in for this so players stop making unreasonable demands. My new star signing is asking for a transfer six months after joining because I've not been playing him enough (he's played every game he's been fit for) because he didn't play X amount of games during the "window" of a promise made because the world cup was on ffs.

You could sell him and for that buy about a hundred better strikers. 

 

There's a kid at Lecce called Pablo Rodriguez you can buy for about 900k that's fifty times better than Dykes.

Yeah tempted to for sure! Always remember the old adage of how quickly FM devalue a players ability when they go up a league! 
 

Celtic are sniffing around anyway.

You shouldn't have done that, he's got no potential. He won't get any better. 

 

He's just a solid championship / lower Prem bargain you can get for cheap.
