One of my very first posts on here was pointing out, that after the first international break, Rodgers's lack of Rotation would cause us some serious serious issues....Yet apparently it was 'Too early' to be concerned.

Now with just a couple of months into the season, we have Ndidi out again with a hamstring issue, Evans injured after returning too soon twice already this season, Ricardo suffering a hamstring injury at Norwich.....Rodgers is not rotating his squad, even though he has plenty of options this season.

The team currently sit top of the league? Chelsea.

I was told earlier in the season it is easier for them to 'Rotate' because they have loads of World Class players. They brought in Chalobah/Loftus-Cheek/Hudson-Odoi/Chilwell/Barkley against Southampton, and won convincingly 3-1.

These are not 'World Class players', they're squad players, fulfilling a role of earning points when rotating.

Meanwhile, we bring Choudhury in, with no game time all season....In an absolutely shocking management decision!

Yesterday proved that Choudhury is Rodgers's first 'backup' for Ndidi, so why on earth hasn't he been given game time?

Choudhury - No game time

Thomas - Not enough game time

Amartey - Embarrassing that he has been dropped when playing well and actually showing some character

KDH - No game time

Daka/Soumare - Told they need time to 'adapt', but not being given enough football to do so.

People see Rodgers as some 'Top manager'.....A guy who's best Managerial achievement actually came with us, winning the FA Cup!

He can't get us playing as a team, and hasn't been able to now for between 6-12 months.

Elsewhere, Benitez is getting the best out of our ex player Gray, got the best out of our current player Perez, and is turning Andros bloody Townsend into a very good looking winger.

Rodgers is not the 'Progressive' manager we were told he was.

He seems like a manager who is able to get a good tune out of a squad already built for him, but he's too reliant on the brilliance of individuals....He looked lost at Liverpool after Suarez, and he looks lost here currently.

Right now, this is far far worse that anything under Puel, considering the squad we have.

'Short termism' is a phrase I have seen used by some, acting as though us who question Rodgers are in some way short sighted.

My main concern with Rodgers is about where he is going to take us long term! He has proved at Swansea/Liverpool/Leicester that he can come in and work quite well with what he has, but when he is required to build himself on the foundations, he's completely clueless.

With our performances this season being the final nail in the coffin to see Tielemans leave, Vardy not getting any younger, our most crucial midfielder Ndidi missing half the playing time under Rodgers, Evans always injured, a change in recruitment to signing aging/slow players not good enough Vestegaard/Bertrand....I fear Rodgers staying much longer, will severely put us 'back into the pack' of sides like Palace/Southampton/Newcastle etc.

Benitez/Moyes/Potter, all guys doing better jobs currently with the first two having far far better records at this level.

If I was Top, I'd be going to Potter, telling him all about our ambitions, the ground/training ground etc, promising him huge financial investment again this summer, and dragging him here from Brighton.

A man who for last season and this, has turned Brighton into a very good 'TEAM', with 11 players that I wouldn't, individually, put into our best XI.

Rodgers clearly isn't happy with our 'recruitment', bizarrely, considering how successful it has been.

Potter's recruitment, of signing players under 23, mixed with very cheap/free experienced squad players (Veltman/Welbeck/Lallana) is exactly what we were doing previous.

Hmm isn't that what we're doing with Daka, Soumare, Lookman and with experienced squad players Vesterguaard and Bertrand and what you just criticised. The last 2 wouldn't be playing if Fofana and Justin hadn't been injured.

Good observation, it’s the truth , I fear where Brendan is taking us . TT at Chelsea has got a tune out of rotated players being keeping them hungry .  Rodgers can’t get upside peoples head like TT , he’s a one trick pony and a big phony.  I just hope we are preparing as a club to get rid of this turd, he’s been far too weak over the last 10 months he cannot blame injuries as the rot came in before Wes /Evans injuries .

Anyone got a TLDR?

Apparently we don't rotate enough but Chelsea do.

And basically a blast on Rodgers. Yawn.

It's far easier to rotate when you have decent points on the board, than it is when each match seems "must win" or "must not lose".

Brendan has shown in the past when things are going well he will rotate. West Ham and Palace away in the last season or two, he made wholesale changes.

Seriously, comparing us to Chelsea is a joke. Look at their layout on transfers. They can afford to buy players like Chilwell for close on 50 million to have his as back up basically. They are light years ahead of us in financial matters. If Chilwell was still here he would be a starter.

I'm far from happy they way things are right now but two 5th place finishes, an FA Cup win and the charity shield chucked in for good measure tell me there are some good things too.

If you really want to follow this argument then the problem lies in us not being able to chuck the best part of 300 million on 6 or 7 squad players.

You can’t have a go at Rodgers for what is going on with Evans, with his issue he is very likely to always struggle to play consecutive games. Sounds like he is ill now rather than his foot keeping him out so please don’t tell me you are going to blame Rodgers for Evans picking up an illness.

Those Chelsea players may not be world class but they are still very good players, bit different being able to use players like Chalobah and Chilwell as backup over Vestergaard and Bertrand.

About 6 different managers struggled with Gray at both Leicester and Leverkusen so don’t bother having a go at Rodgers for him now suddenly looking good, being booted out by us and barely used by Leverkusen might have finally been the kick up the arse he needs.

You mention Benitez, Moyes and Potter but how do you think they would do if they were missing 3 of their 4 starting defenders?

Yet half the fan base were moaning when he's rotated in the Europa League fixtures. Do agree Hamza should've got some game time before yesterday if he's the back up for Wilf

Club doing well = Players happy to be rotated or probably can't complain because of results.  Club on a poor run of results =  players not happy due to rotation and manager's tactics/set up etc.  If the confidence comes back then we don't care if Rodgers is rotating or not, because we can go to sleep at night thanking our lucky stars we are not Newcastle or Norwich at the bottom of the prem league!
