Looks like the cricket club opens from 4 for midweek games.

 

Good job too as the two micropubs I'd eyed up for a swift half in before heading there appear be closed on Tuesdays.

Forgot about that! Meant to go once but was too tight for time.

 

EDIT: Also claims to be closed Tuesdays. lol

Reminds me of Wigan in the promotion season when I took up the offer of a spare hotel bed. The only place open was Wetherspoons, which closed about an hour after full-time. What a night.

I thought all the returns are now on the website, hence so many being available? The end will be just over half full at this rate...

Yeah I returned my three as well. Kudos to those going, but I'd rather smack myself about with a large piece of granite than trundle up to Burnley on a cold,and inevitably wet midweek to see us meekly lose 2-1 here.
