How the hell have we rejected that offer? He is nowhere near the level required. Honest lad, works hard, but technical ability will make it very unlikely he ever cuts it at this level. I'd rather Monga, Evans, Alves were given a go

£10m for McAteer sounds a good deal.

We are so so so bad at this!

How the hell have we turned down these approaches for Thomas and McAteer. Both are pure profit as well!

We could have used that money today to get a centre back and took a foreign loan in

For what MacAteer has to offer, even if we can't get a replacement in, pushing up Justin in front of the new RB for the last 20 minutes of a game would be no less effective.

He might get some games, but he won’t be a regular starter and he won’t improve the side.

 

£10m pure PSR profit turned down for a limited squad player is absurd to turn down

Even just for a straight £10m we could get far better players, let alone when you look at it with the PSR angle. There is 0 sense in turning it down. Utter madness.

Just like Thomas and Iversen… they were one off offers and we refused. All of them will eventually leave for free having had no impact on the team in the interim
