Lovely gesture from Madders. Who gives a fvck if he’s flash and loves to show off what he has. He’s a hard working young lad who deserves what he has. Problem is that footballers are easy targets, especially to the media. They can’t do anything right.

I bloody love Curb.

As for Madders, well he's damned if he does and he's damned if he doesn't. Some people (including some of our own) simply have it out for him because of his hair, his clobber and his backpack. It's daft and you can spot it a mile off.

Flash or not he's clearly a good lad and in this case, he has donated and raised awareness of the cause. Good on him.

Tomorrow night

if Madders plays

on 7 minutes (Violets age)

stand up and applaud Madders.

Simple way to show your support, acknowledgement  and appreciation for what he's done.

(I think he thrives on that sort of gesture from us)

Really? It’s not about Madders. He’s done something wonderful but I think this is a bit extreme.

Started as a tongue in cheek comment based on the sh1t people have said on here regarding applauses for good causes but turned into something that got me thinking about what gives Madders the boost he sometimes desires to produce the displays and goals he's capable of.

But yes, a little extreme as you said, but even he has stated in interviews how much he loves to be loved and talked about.

He's a nice lad. Simple as that, dont think theres ever been a feeling that hes not.  He's also a young lad who really really enjoys the footballers lifestyle.  But why the heck not, he's a lucky guy.

As long as he puts the work in on the pitch thats all that matters. The issue and he has to take it on his shoulders, is that if you want to live that life style and be all over the papers and social media then when things go bad you will be called on it.

Him donating £2.5K (assuming hes on £100K a week) is in % terms like someone doniting £12.50 on £26K a year. It's not like hes chucked a quid in. Fair play to him

no...he's chucked in 2.5k

I know a Leicester legend has donated £155,000 to a childrens charity over the last 3 years and NO one knows about it, and he doesn’t want anyone knowing about it, he wouldn’t be the type to throw a PARTY over it 👍

what about a work place event?

I have a lot of respect for anyone who donates anything to charity and the reality is that a lot also goes on behind the doors that we don’t get to hear about as alluded to about the leicester legend. We also shouldn’t assume this is madders’ only donation  just because this one has been talked about.

Proud to be a Leicester fan when I read about stuff like this.

Can I also add, that Marc Albrighton helped an 82 year old lady cross the street at the weekend.

So if we could all applaud on the 82nd that'd be great, thanks all.
