Hi Leicester!

We are three Dutch football fans that visit England once every year for a weekend. Each year a different city and different football club regardless what league they play. The plan is simple:

- Enjoy the culture / history of the place

- Enjoy football

- Eat and drink too much, maybe some pubcrawling and head back home :-)

I'm trying to get my hands on three home game tickets somewhere in March with a good view but it seems impossible, as most is reserved for season ticket holders, so we're thinking about just going to Leicester Stadium and buy them at the ticket office. The big question: what is the chance everything is sold out? I'd be an immense disappointment if we flew all the way over with big expectations and everything is sold out.

What do you people think? Are there maybe other options?

Regards,

Joris

You could luck out and get 3 tickets but I very much doubt they'd be together, Might be worth seeing if they get to General Sale. Some resell through the club and some sell directly although technically that's illegal but again 3 together easier to win the league :P

An uninspiring Cup/Conference League tie if we get through, a Women's game (if it's just the city/ground itself you're looking for), a Youth game (same reasons, think some are still played at the KP) or someone flogging their tickets on the side

The club don’t have an operating ticket office anymore at the ground. So please don’t do that.

You’ll either need a very kind season ticket holder who can help out or email the club to see if they will help out.

At the moment we only have two games in March at home. The Brentford game could be moved to the Sunday as well

Possibly email the "ticket office"

[email protected]

Although we don't have an actual ticket office at the stadium there is still ticketing department staff on site in the offices upstairs at the stadium

I had to upgrade a ticket for Brentford away earlier in the season and it was an absolute mess how they sort it

Had to take the original physical ticket down to the stadium because they have to have them back if being upgraded apparently

Get to the stadium and go into the shop to ask what to do and they said about how we don't have a ticket office and I should go around to reception

Go into the main reception and I had to stand around for 15-20 minutes while they got someone from ticketing upstairs to come down to talk to me

Had to show them all the emails I had been having with the "ticket office" over the past few days about permission to upgrade etc.

Had to pay to upgrade (which is fair enough, Senior to Adult) but they had to take my debit card back upstairs to take the payment whilst I hung around outside

Came back down with my card, said it was all done, didn't give me a receipt or send me an email or anything, had to go all the way down to Brentford hoping it was actually sorted without any confirmation from the club that it was

Thankfully it was and Brentford thankfully have an actual ticket office which made it easy to know where to go and I got to see that Youri belter in person

Absolute shambles though

Remember the days it used to be so simple to call the Club on a local landline number

Welcome!

The face value ticket exchange on Facebook may well be your friend

Evening.

I'm a season ticket holder that travels out to Holland for a bit of ground hoping on a regular basis.

Normal based in Rotterdam

Grounds visited so far,

Excelsior 4 or 5 times

ADO 2 or 3

Breda

Ajax

PSV

Sparta twice

Utrecht

Probably missed a couple.

Anyway we now know the ticket manager at Excelsior and he always looks after us for tickets.

Also hoping to get some young boys kralingen over for a game this season.

So if you want to drop me a DM with which game you are trying to make I'm sure I can ask about and find a few spares.
