Me and 3 others are all staying right next to Termini at IQ Hotel. Just made sense to be walking distance from The train station for the airport and metro.

Can't wait for this and always great to see fans all together having a good time.

Here's to Pizza, Pasta, Beer and a great few days!

Does anyone know if there is usually a specify area / square / pubs that get assigned in Rome?

Seperatley I have accommodation in Vatican area and termini booked and can't decide which to keep. The termini one only appeals as easier to get to after the game.

Liverpool's meeting point when they went was Piazzale Delle Canestre, but obviously no guarantee it would be the same. Probably likely though. Italian police seem to do similar for most games. Looks like it was the same when Chelsea went too.

Getting a 7am flight back Friday morning so thinking of staying by the airport. Can anyone advise whether they think it'll be an issue getting hold of a taxi/transport after the game? Thanks v much

I’m flying from ciampino to Lisbon 645am so I’ve pre booked a taxi through my accommodation at 430am. Ciampino doesn’t open/allow passengers in until 430am so going straight to the airport post game isn’t an option. Most hotels will arrange a transfer but there is a premium for night/early morning transfers obviously

Yes. That's where fans were asked to go and gather to get shuttle buses to the stadium anyway, so would make sense they'd drop back somewhere similar.

For gathering points during the day they were given Piazza Campo De Fiori and Largo Corrado Ricci.

Can fans collect tickets then go back to hotel etc and make their own way to the ground?

Makes sense seeing as neither are anywhere near the bus departure

You can fly out to Naples via Luton arrive Naples at 10:00am (hopefully) and then get the bullet train to Rome only takes 1hr 10mins, the real challenge is getting back though to Naples

Getting back on the same night won’t be possible! Early morning train or a minivan with 8 of you would cost about 500€ after the game if need be

Yep apparently Liverpool's gathering places later got changed to places closer lol - Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna. But the original two are where they usually use. So really could be any of those 4, but you'll probably need to go to the park at some point.

Not sure yet if you’ve decided to join my Transfer bit I will do a drop at Termini and also the Vatican.

Termini is a little rough indeed, but like any Capital European train station you’ll be fine as long as you keep your wits and don’t be walking around plastered.

Vatican area definitely has a much better vibe with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Well policed to as you have the police of both Borgo and Prati in the area.

Who knows most likely May 6th 2022 knowing our ticket office.

You jest but knowing them you will be nearer truth. Less then 2 weeks to go and still not sorted. Surely when the draw was made for the semis and we knew if we got through we would of been playing eitherRoma or Bodo, the club would of made arrangements with those clubs so if we got through we knew how many tickets, what price, and dates they would be on sale.then when we won the sales could be done Within a couple of days. Or am I being too logical.

Annoying if we have 5k an don't sell out, then not open to general sale.

Although I'm sort of hoping they don't because I know I'll be massively tempted lol And I really can't afford it.
