Aliens might come here regularly, but space time isn't continuous, so 50,000 years have passed since they came last week.

It's all relative 😉

Anything interesting come out of the JFK files yet?

You might need to wait a while. They've not digitised the whole lot yet, you can visit the files in person if you want to. Some parts are still redacted... Give it 6 months to a year maybe?

I still think that they’ll maybe “exclude” some stuff.

Exactly this. There are thousand of pages and a significant amount of content that remains redacted. However, basement dwelling and armchair conspiracy theorists will already be scouring the contents to cherry pick and extract all manner of confirmation bias for a new wave of dumb social media memes and Tik Tok reels.

I know some people insist on a conspiracy still. My view is that Oswald did it alone. The Secret Service and the rest were covering up their embarrassment that they had a lot of knowledge about Oswald but couldn't prevent the crime.

Interestingly he was monitored very closely by the KGB whilst in the USSR. When he tried range shooting, they noted that he was a poor shot - which the conspiracy theorists will thrive on. However they also concluded that it was doubtful that anyone could control, coerce or subjugate him.

Interesting about range shooting. I believe he was rated as a marksman when he was a US Marine

And yet from the KGB's surveillance, he was deemed a lousy shot.

I believe Patson Daka was rated as a marksman when he played up front for Red Bull Salzburg. ;)

I think the US Marines are a higher equivalent than the Austrian League

Might be a fake. (I don’t think Russel read right to the end)

It's snippets like this which are going to feed peeps like SpacedX. You need to read it all in context. So RB is doing pretty much as Spaced predicted.

Need to be a tortoise, not a hare for this.

It was a daft joke for God's sake.

Is this why my bottom hurts?

My hot take is that Donald Trump has dementia and that those around him know, but are exploiting the situation because they'll never have a president who's easier to manipulate. It means that the country is de facto governed by Project 2025 influencers, and other right-wing extremists, with Trump serving primarily as a figurehead.

Watch that diagnosis become public in 2029 when he's retired, unless symptoms become so obvious that he and they can't hide it any more.

If that is true, I would guess that we should expect to see Eric or Donald Jr start to be seen acting on their father's behalf a lot more. I've only seen Eric out and about once - I think to Greenland?  - since DT took office. That's not to say that they do a lot in the shadows...

Based on previous utterances, I think he'll keep it in the family in terms of overall control as he wants to build a dynasty like the Bushes and Kennedy's

So much of what goes on there is shadowy that nothing would surprise me. I'm not even sure it would just be kept in the family either; Musk, Vance et al would all have very significant influence and, in the latter case, will want conditions to be right for a presidential run in 2028. If the former decides he's a better bet than either Trump Jr, then Donald Trump's dynastic dreams fall apart and his diagnosis becomes public earlier with the 25th Amendment invoked.

don't think that so much a conspiracy theory as just a basic reading of his behaviour tbh

That he is undergoing cognitive decline is indeed obvious. The argument that his entourage know, and have a diagnosis, but are keeping it under wraps so they can exploit a dementia patient and use him as an unwitting figurehead for a far-right agenda would be the greatest scandal in the history of American politics were it proved.

That constant intensive use of being tangoed will have that effect.

I think also Musk has inserted his cognitive ability through hisnwig

That was said for Biden, and you could tell Trump is just being Trump
