Arrived in the Orlando yesterday afternoon switched my phone on to see a picture of Holgate celebrating a goal on BBC, knew it wasn't good news before I read the score line. What on earth is going on? Seemed like players just going through the motions until they can hit the beach. Brendan Rodgers has basically took us back to where Claude Puel left us.

Some booed him... but then more started to clap.

Whatever we think of his achievements at city I think he tried his best for us.  We didnt want him here but there is no need to boo him.

Something good that came from yesterday was my wife just starting at Pickford whilst he was ranting to mid air yesterday after one of his goal kicks (that took about 2 minutes to do). She just quietly said, 'are we witnessing Pickford having a ***king breakdown'.  

 

Made me chuckle.

There was a lot of slipping but it must be difficult  playing in flip flops

This defeat still hurts; more so because of wanting Everton to go down.
