Saying some of the players don't have winning mentality

Where does he think this mentality stems from? I imagine he wasn't questioning mentality when they won the FA cup. He sounds like Joe Root criticising Broad and Anderson not realising it just reflects badly on him.

Pretty hard to do when their boss doesn’t have a winning mentality. Can but the blame on everyone he likes. At some point he must be introspective and accept responsibility.

If my boss told me I’m performing badly every week I wouldn’t be too motivated.

It’s fine. When all of our players are back from injury we’ll be good again.

I'm not using it as an excuse but to be fair all of the players are not back, are they? Riccy P, Justin, Maddison, Ndidi and Vardy either out injured or not fit enough to start. That's a half of our first XI missing.

When did we stop getting to the byline..? The only time in recent memory I can recall is Perez at Psv and lo and behold we get a goal from it…

We don’t create overloads because our play is slow that the opposition have time to get 11 men behind the ball, we must be a dream to play against in a tactical sense because it’s hardly rocket science. Even in the rare circumstances when we do create one from a bit of a counter our players check inside and play the ball sideways or backwards! It’s absolutely baffling and I have no idea anymore what our style of play is or what game plan we’re trying to implement. Either Rodger’s has lost the plot or the entire team is sticking to a tactic they have little or no faith in. I miss the days where we could go from one end of the pitch to the other in 2/3 passes and get a shot in on goal..😢

Weird move, to essentially criticise the culture at the club when you're literally responsible for setting that culture. If players lack mentality and courage....it's your job to fix it. Take some ****ing responsibility.

We keep using this "players missing etc".

Let's get this straight.

Even when these players do return they have made no real impact to the results.

Vardys  done nothing last 3 games.

Madders has a world class performance  one game in 5.

Justin will play and people want Ricky P back in.

Ndidi come back and hes a agadown of himself.

We cant keep saying this shite.

We would make Virgil VD look mediocre with is after a few games..

Everything goes wide, the only times we had anything come close to chances in the second half one of the wingers Barnes/Evans(in one case) came in off the the wing to find space in the box

None of our forwards are good in the air. We've Marc Albrighton who can deliver fantastic balls into the box and use wing play often but we don't have anyone in the box who can cause physical problems for their CBs or head the fookin ball.

Was thinking this the other day against Spurs when Sharky came on, delicious balls into the box but no-one there for it.

Still miss Ulloa 😢

Rodgers shit himself today when turned to the Kop because he was rightly getting abuse.

That had all signs of someone who didn’t have a clue what to do. KDH and Barnes both ended up playing a position they have never have in their professional careers. Just a hugely disjointed eleven at the end.

Players aren’t motivated it’s now clear. I counted three today what showed a level of aggression.

We simply don’t run enough. With or without the ball. No one goes beyond their opposite number to make space. Just canter back cos they are afraid of losing the ball.

He somehow managed to get the players back in a decent shape after Forest but it’s clear they’ve gone now.

We are reverting to level seen before Rodgers time. The excuses are done and there’s no defence.

I’ve been pelted on here all season for criticising Dan Amartey. I’ve been abused, banned… all sorts

The reality is that he (and a number of others) are simply not good enough to take this club anywhere.

That’s about the bottom line tbf.

Rodgers is fookin it up tactically but the reality is we need better players. Even the quality players (like Tielemans) clearly ain’t bothered anymore. His head has been elsewhere for months.

To move forward we need a fresh manager with fresh ideas who is going to be able to get rid of the likes of Amartey, Mendy, Soumare, Perez and Tielemans and replace them with better quality players OR up and coming players with a point to prove. It’ll have to be a two pronged thing. We can’t keep Rodgers as I don’t trust him with the money. And we can’t keep the bang average players any longer.

That second half told us all we needed to know about where the club is at. Sideways passing between Mendy and Amartey.
I’d much rather have the great escape season. At least Pearson’s teams had character and some fight. This lot are just dull

We'll be a different side with our players back from injuries lol

But we still can't get our first team out.  We have had to rotate with European matches and now we are still having to rotate because fixture congestion means we have a game on Weds.

It was a dismal performance but you can't tell me that was the first team, minus Wilf.

We will never have an era again like this

Ever again.Vardy is fading and gone along with the great times he brought for us.

Rogers has had a ride on the back of this along with Puels signings.

Even though Puel was a shit man manager

.terrible game today
