It’s shocking from Lcfc to be in this position once again, when the season we got relegated was 70% down to him! The man should be nowhere near match day squad!! HAVE LEICESTER CITY LEARNED NOTHING SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAME !!!!

I’m struggling to get over this tbf, you get relegated surly a multi million pound business learns from there mistakes at the top! We are in a fight like before but still have to rely on this player as back up!! Truly stunning

To be fair to Ward the defending was totally shambolic - Coady and Kristensen atrocious for the goals he conceded - he had no chance

Danny is no Yashin, but those two set him up pretty bad today.

Need at least half a dozen of better players…otherwise it’s the plank walk for us.

The worst season a goalkeeper will ever have at this level and he's still on our books and now getting games again.

This club needs to get serious. It's been a complete joke for years.

A competent DoF would have either got rid at a loss or torn up the contract.

Yesterday wasn’t on Danny Ward to be honest.

When you watch those goals back, the defensive shape is horrible. Isak gave Coady and Vestergaard severe headaches but the full backs were all over the place. Okali should have started as we needed his pace.

I’m not sure how anyone can say the defence looked shot of confidence after Ward came on? Surely as a professional you protect the goal more, like you would with a more youthful goalkeeper if that is the case?

Newcastle created better chances in the 2nd half and punished us.

How is this guy 2nd choice?

Stolarkzyk is just coming back from injury who is the number 2. Iversen boots the ball out of play at every given opportunity.

Can any of our outfield players do a job in net? Can't be worse.

Hamza? He saved more shots with his hair in one game against West Brom than Ward has on however long. Imagine if he could use his hands!

Although Ward made some truly awful gaffs and should have been dragged sooner to take him out of the spotlight, I actually think Bazunu was worse for Southampton in 22/23, than Ward was for us.

Taibi is surely the most notable “worst goalkeeper” in premier league history. Although I’m sure they’ll be some randoms who Have had nightmares and luckily the clubs didn’t play them repeatably!

Definitely a worse shot-stopper than Ward.

Bazunu set the Premier League record for the worst -xG ever recorded in the PL and was well on his way to repeating the feat in the Championship before getting injured. The difference? Bazunu can at least play with his feet, like a midfielder in goal. Ward, meanwhile, doesn’t have a single redeeming attribute.

I thought he might end up at Wrexham to be honest when his contract expires at the end of this season.

People just waiting for Danny Ward to play to let their demons out. He really was not the problem yesterday, as shite as he is.

I missed the game yesterday due to parenting responsibilities and haven’t yet found the courage to watch the highlights. How many of the three goals Ward let in were clangers by him?

If you have watched their series, you’ll know the tend to have bad luck with goalkeepers and injuries. I’m not sure they’d even be daft enough to take him on a free though. Their owners are intelligent guys and have good people advising them.

1 and he was on the field for 3 of them. We were horrific and it was a team effort for sure, but lack of midfield was the major cause imho.

Sorry I missed why madds was replaced in the first place! What happened?

Nothing official from what I can see, however he was ill before the game apparently.

The one that went through his legs was a one on one.

Terrible defending from Kristiansen.

The forward should always score from that position. I’m not sure he can be blamed for that.
