Will put it out now , we will sign 4 players under 21 , saying they have great upside , we will sign one player between 24 -26 with premier league experience, and we will keep all the dead wood because we won’t sell them for less than we think there worth. Come on others on here let’s hear ur predictions , then when it’s all done we can have laugh at who was right and who was wrong 😑

When we qualify for the Champions League we're going to need some home grown players.

Hamza, Barnes, Dewsbury-Hall - They're here for the long haul :scarf:

We have been trying to shift Hamza for three windows. No worries, our homegrown quotient for our 23/24 Champions League winning squad is currently about to go kill it on loan.

Had a good chat with my brother last night who mentioned something I hadn’t considered. Whilst I was thinking about players such as Barclay, Loftus C etc - fairly lightweight considerations I must concede - he mentioned we need to go in big and composed, someone like Cambiasso in midfield, Tunchev at the back that sort of thing to restore the gnarly/experienced spine we have so lacked in games. Not sure who is out there in that mould as my footballing knowledge isn’t great but it was a solid point I thought.

Just want a Roy Keane type destroyer/psycho in midfield. Older head for defence too as Evans will be out half the season anyway.

Someone to pull the team up in the middle of the field. We only have Vardy & Kasper as old school warriors either end of the pitch. Our attacking & overall player skill levels are up there, we just need some spine and metal to berate/lift us when our inexperience shows and our levels drop.

Choudhury is not good enough sadly. Needs to go for his own sake.

His wages will be well out of our bracket surely?

Can't imagine Dortmund pay much more to their main players than we do. Depends what offers he has on the table. A 1 year deal on £100k a week might well tempt him.

That article is just wishy washy click bait. 'Interesting' is both vague and confirmation that we won't have a big net spend. If we can't get the choppers off the wage bill early, it could be certain level of 'interesting' that none of us want.

Someone smarter than me please explain how this can be after we made those not insignificant losses

Yeah something doesn't add up here, weren't we up to like 200m in 2021?

& is Chelsea only free of debt because of the current circumstances with Roman writing off 1bn+, if so they have done very well out of the whole situation.

No chance this is true

We owe KP about £200m and then have a bank loan with Macquarie for about £80m as well if I remember correctly

The debt is against the owners/business affiliation, but not the club itself.

..I  would suspect it would be monies owed to a third party ie a bank etc as opposed to an internal liability on the balance sheet!!!
