Wolves are very defensive so he will have a lot of protection. 1

The time to get him was last year when he went to Burnley. If only we had tried instead of getting Jannick. Nothing against Vesty who I think gets a lot of undeserved criticism. We knew his weaknesses but went ahead anyway. This is not a dig at Rogers in any way I just think we need to stick with the plan.

Also not convinced he was ever our priority, only ever a back up option and not exactly a cheap one at that. As others have said hopefully we can get our first choice now, ideally Colwill or Richards. Potentially waiting for some dominos to fall into place with Chelsea and Bayern linked with De Ligt, Koulibaly and Aké…
