For me, YT is a source of information that shows you how to do practical home DIY stuff that you don't know how to do. 

I've learnt that most things I thought I couldn't do, I actually can after watching YT.

This guy creates the best quality content YouTube. Captain Disillusion. 

 

He's a Hollywood VFX artist who debunks viral videos among other things with some of the best production you'll see on YT. Sublime stuff and I'm not sure which of his vids to post as they're all fantastic, but here's a short one. His back catalogue is binge-worthy.

 

 

Mentour Pilot is great for those interested in aviation or have just a bit of a morbid curiosity like I do, and explains how aviation accidents occurred. Here's Aeroflot Flight 593 which crashed because the pilots allowed their children to fly it.
