Again, that’s not what you said. You said he’s the worst CB we’ve ever had. My argument is simply he’s not the worst CB we’ve ever had.

Now you’ve changed the argument to a niche ‘three season’ caveat.

Why not just add in with big curly hair and from Belgium to your qualifying criteria?

No if you read my posts ive laid out that i think hes the worst because hes consistently been part of a side that has been relegated twice in 3 seasons. Any other player that you can consider ‘worse’ has never survived in the line up for as long as he has.

Ability wise no he’s probably not the worst but in terms of contribution then yes he definitely is since he was the main centre back in 2 appalling relegation battles.

People call Junior Lewis one of our worst ever players and he only got a season and one relegation. Faes has 2 relegations and countless mistakes and poor performances to his name.

Would happy him start for us this season, and give him full support, but don't want him anywhere near the club should we ever return to a competitive league.

The championship is probably the most competitive league in the world ;)

So he’s the worst CB ever to have played for Leicester in two relegations with big curly hair from Belgium named Wout. Got it.

Does Amartey count?

Benalouane? -Did he make 3 seasons?

Kisnorbo?

Ok I'm digging the archives? How far back is too far? Lol

I’ll not have a bad word said about big Dan thank you very much. It’s not his fault he wasn’t very good & shit scared of receiving a pass under pressure.

Name me one other cb that survived not one but two dismal relegation campaigns with the club and continued to be a regular starter, its all i ask.

The poster that named Kisnorbo came closest but he was bombed out after his first relegation.

Jesus haz Wout shagged your mum or something.

No i’m just making the case that the main cb of two relegation campaigns is probably the worst in his position in terms or contribution in the clubs history. You’d expect far more from a supposed international footballer.

Plenty of fans still regard Junior Lewis as our worst ever player but he only has one relegation, less losses and far less mistakes on his Leicester CV compared to Faes.

Right so you don’t have an example. Got it.

return to a competitive league? Mate, we’ve just been made to work hard against a team that only has 14 professionals on their books and an owner that seems determined to  bankrupt them! We are in a competitive league!

How about the entire back 4, they've all been here for 2 relegations and consistently performed shit over a sustained period. 😂

I thought the reaction was completely warranted, we can all hate Faes as a footballer, and you can question his attitude, but booing him as he came on doesn't help the atmosphere, doesn't help the team, doesn't help the player. So his reaction to scoring was fair game in my opinion. Fans need to be able to take it when giving it, Faes gave us 3 points yesterday.

However, for the rest of the season it was a really stupid reaction, I would imagine that Marti might second guess bringing him on if it's going to make the place that toxic. I can only hope now that Faes looks at that reaction from the fans and forces his way out.

I’d be inclined to agree if any of them were more consistent in the line up but Vestergaard missed the first relegation and half of the second. Justin has some credit in the bank due to previous performances during a more successful period and his injuries and we’ve not had someone consistently enough in the LB position to be considered.

Do you know how niche your qualifying criteria is?

Can you name how many times in the history of the club we’ve been relegated, promoted, relegated in three seasons?

These here footballers are earning thousands..

If it was a Broadway show that was equally bad as wout has played the rotten fruit would have been flying

These jokers get away with it lightly and they don't need any football fan feeling sorry for them

So stick that in your pipes and smoke .. I know wout likes a good cry and gets emotional 😢

But hey that's his problem

Not many which is exactly my point and who was the consistent CB in those seasons? Faes.

In each of the times we’ve been relegated in our history not many players survived after for as long as Faes has and if they did they definitely didnt last as first team regulars.

Plenty of players worse in terms of pure ability sure but not many have contributed as far below the expected level as Faes has.

One player doesn't mean you will get relegated I would say its more on the manager, club, scouts, it's a team game after all.

Justin was woeful last season along with many other players, harsh to put all the blame on one player

Its not that i’m blaming him. I’m just saying in terms of contributions as a starting CB, 2 relegations, poor performances, mistakes, losses etc it means in my opinion he’s the worst CB we’ve ever had.

Has anyone ever honestly looked at the line up and thought ‘Its alright, Wout Faes is playing today I feel confident we’ll get a good result because of this.’

There were times in our history that seeing a certain CBs name in the line up filled you with confidence, with Faes the first thought is and always will be ‘I hope he doesnt make too many mistakes today.’

He’s not the worst, he thinks he is better than he is which is his issue. I don’t mind him giving it to the fans tbf. If he performs and scores he’ll get backed. He has had some pretty woeful performances for us, it’s the pointy thing he does that’s most annoying. If he contributes like yesterday I can fault him

And Muzzy Izzet was involved in both relegations the first time, therefore making him one of our worst ever players.

Other players with two relegations include Muzzy Izzet, Steve Guppy and Matt Elliott.

If Wout had been part of two cup winning teams and numerous top 10 finishes i’d be giving him far more credit and leeway but he doesnt have that type of clout on his CV.
