Different ball game when you get to the World Cup though. In comparison to some of the European teams, I just think they’re not quite at that level.

It's hard to root for the Saudis, but against the Argies you've just got to. Never mind the politics, the football side of it is plenty. The love-in for Messi is so sickly it sticks in your throat, and their team beyond him is over-rated to a quite mad level.

For a country where music is haram to many, SA's anthem is a banger too, to be fair.

With the Qatar owning PSG + Messi, I’m sure they will be happy with that too! H’away the lads!

Just heard that Messi is an "ambassador" for the Saudis - so **** him.

I have been wondering why so many people have picked them to win it. They’re being led by two lads whose time has been and gone. 
 

They look like they don’t really have a clue out there, give it to Messi and Di Maria and hope for the best.
