Also, the Poles' warm up friendly against Chile next week has had to be moved from the National Stadium, after an inspection found a 'defect' with the 60-tonne spire which sits above the pitch.

Drągowski out of the World Cup after suffering suspected torn ligaments playing for Spezia against Hellas Verona. He'll be replaced by Copenhagen's Kamil Grabara.

But finishing second lets say wth a "surprise" result in the final group game would see them in all likelihood avoid Brazil until the final...hmmmm🤔

Yeah but would potentially make their road to the final France in the RO16 and then England in the quarters

Not sold on Argentina at all. Defensively they’re very poor. And Messi et al are all far too old to carry the team deep into the competition.

 

Naturally only my opinion, but I’m not sure we will see them going on to win it.

They gave up 8 goals in 17 qualifiers and only let in 3 goals en route to winning the Copa America just last year.

It is a foul and it is a penalty but it'll be interesting to see how consistent they are with this throughout the tournament. Cos a lot of those are usually ignored.

It's not VAR that's bollocks (well it is of course, utter bollocks, but not because of this!) - it's just that a rubbish decision was made in the England game.

The officials met after the game yesterday and were told that should have been called and similar penalties should be given going forward.
