Im scared to admit going to you lot 🤣 but I did as live round the corner. It was a surprisingly great atmosphere and I got trigger happy when we beat spurs ha. Pretty much non stop singing, was better first half for obvious reasons, but way way better than I thought it would be. Funniest moment was when a united fan giving it large all game who had got absolutely peppered from our fans with banter got so wound up he ended up being dragged out fighting cops

You should never be ashamed to support your team in my view and it seemed like one of those games with a smaller but more vociferous support who are probably fatalistic to our demise - Fair play to them

From my experience Portsmouth and Newcastle are ridiculously over rated - Everton is always atrocious too - the others I'll give them their due

Leeds is the best I’ve been but even that can be overrated at times. It’s always game dependent

Lots of comments on here about how atmospheres in England are dead, and that only Scotland is any good on these islands.

 

St Andrews tonight nailing that lie.  Absolutely rocking, proper old fashioned humdinger of an atmosphere.

Just watched 10 mins of Brighton FA Cup match and atmosphere is awful, perhaps it’s a top flight thing now.

 

I think too many are just going through the motions now, top flight football really is boring these days.

 

I wish it wasn’t like that.

Atmospheres are dead for majority of games. This is the 'biggest' home game they've had for a long time whilst I'm good form, so makes sense it'd be better than usual

It’s game by game and what’s at stake,

and that nowadays is becoming less and less in the country.

 

Lets see how much St Andrews is rocking at the weekend when they play somebody like a  Crawley or Stevenage.

 

By the norm, atmospheres in this country are dead

Hasn't it always been like that certainly was at Filbert St many absolute dead games but quite a few really rocking.

That's the point.

 

You could go to Napoli and have the most amazing atmosphere for a big game, then a week later against some rubbish oppo have an atmosphere as flat as a thin-crust pizza.

It was ****ing rubbish until the second half, when we applied a bit of pressure on Arsenal.

 

Strange, considering how many fans we have, who believe “positivity and getting behind the lads” is the answer to everything.

Signing “second again”  and “more recent than you “ to the Arsenal fans whilst we slide into irrelevance is tragic

It's funny that the people that don't protest also don't support the team positively. 

 

 

Definitely more 'account holders' get behind the team than non.

Pretty awful considering pretty much every game is either must win, or against one of the 'big' sides. 

 

I know all of the stuff about the terrible state the club is in, and what an absolute mess those in charge have made of it, but our supporters offer no help to the team, it's our only job and it's pathetic.

On a different note; weren’t Arsenal woeful? Away support is on its arse. Didn’t have a peep until they scored and they went straight to a rent a song book

Always been mediocre.

 

Must've been gutting for the Facebook crowd that the crowd didn't boo or turn toxic. Almost as though we are shit whatever the atmosphere is.
