I know our club are desperate to bring through a player of Thai heritage and make it in to the first team.

Erawan Garnier at Lyon looks to be a fantastic prospect.

Close season has begun :D

If I had a love child it would be more like that Finnish licorice kid.

Posted (edited)

Flicked over to Sky's Saturday Social to see Nieve Petruzziello (apparently better known as a YouTuber called Stunt Pegg) recommend Arouna Sangante, a CB from Le Havre as being a good option for us next season.

I know absolutely nothing about the player or the person recommending him, but just thought I'd share for those more enlightened than I am.

Ismael Gharbi on loan at Stade Lausanne from PSG.

Contract up next summer and PSG renown for selling such peripheral youngsters fairly cheap.

Will be interesting to see what PSG do with Gharbi as well as Ayman Kari.

We’ve been linked with Kari in the past, currently on loan at Lorient, has shown a few promising glimpses of his technical talent.

Senny Mayula also looks a real prospect at PSG, but unfortunately can’t see them loaning him out after some recent good showings.

He's out of contract this summer isn't he? As is Mbappe's brother Ethan

Heavily linked with Udinese, reported they'd agreed a fee at some point but can't see anything official confirming its done

Think I've found out why, Serie B clubs can't sign Non EU players not already in Italy, Udinese could go down so are probably trying to avoid the risk of not being able to register him. (If they do drop, probably see him rock up at Watford)

We really need to start utilising Leuven more as well.

Watford have done incredibly well on their South American signings. Nearly all of them have been hits. Asprilla will be the next one to go for £20-30m + in a year or two.

That’s his youth contract mate, he’ll probably sign a professional contract this summer 👍🏻

Asprilla looks very good everytime I see him, not a bad return in a pretty meh season for Watford either. Came through at Envigado who have produced no end of talent, especially considering they aren't one of the big boys in Colombia

Roony Bardghji and Martin Baturina both look very good.  Maybe even Matteo Pessina.

Got to go left field this season and these guys wouldn’t break the bank.

Bardghji has done his ACL apparently. Would fit right in.

There's another Pizarro at Colo Colo who also looks worth a punt

Martin Baturina

He’d be my dream replacement for KDH if we have to sell. He’ll be getting a lot of suitors though unfortunately.

Also like the look of Giannis Konstantelias of PAOK.

I’d also be having a good look at Zeno Debast. Sometimes I wonder what our scouting department actually do. There are some real quality players out there, reasonably priced and with exceptional high ceilings. Obviously not all will hit those heights, but they’ve got to be worth a punt.

I think Owen Gonzalez at Pachuca has the potential to turn into a nifty winger If he can improve his crossing. Completely changed the energy of a few games I’ve watched when he’s been subbed on.

Wears the famous number 190 shirt for Pachuca (it’s true, he has a three-digit number). 😂

Eiram Cashin is one we have bedn keeping tabs on.

Recently signed a big contract through so won't as be cheap as you think.

Possibly one we will go in for further into his contract I don't know.

I did suggest Cashin last year when we needed a cheap LCB/LB.

Harrison Burrows would be easier to get and possibly got more potential.
