Man of the match. Each game

Often speak with the fans around me on their opinion of the man of the match, and opinions often vary, its like we all see a different game, even though we see the same game from the same area.

But today nobody could come up with a single candidate.

 

So today's motm....

 

Really can't choose anyone today, although the lads chucking the shirts into the fans in k block at half time really put a decent amount of effort into it, so they get my vote 🤣

 

But please if you can nominate a motm, do so, with a brief explanation as to why.

 

Perhaps this can be posted in each game, as opinions are often varied

Kristiansen for me. Didn't offer as much going forward as he has recently but made the runs anyway. Didn't get done too many times one on one against Saka and positional was either decent or recovered quick enough. 

 

Best of a bad bunch.

Saw KDH having a go at a few after their goal. Played with some purpose at times although no real standouts. Souttar as mentioned by some did relatively well under the circumstances

Kristiansen and Dewsbury Hall both decent . Souttar solid with some good progressive passes . Rest of Team pretty anonymous.  Ward, Ndidi and Soumare stood out as woeful !

I thought KDH was awful. 

 

Probably would go for kristiansen. He kept saka very quiet.

KDH had three opportunities first half, one to have a shot on his left foot and make attacking through ball type passes but he went safe on all three occasions. He did well but his decision making squandered our attacking threat, needs to be much more positive.

 

Wilf looked back to his old great self so he was my MOTM.

Thought Ward did well to hold Ben White hand so that the first goal was ruled out

Kristiansen. Put in a decent shift against Saka, and whist everyone was cuddling Arsenal players as the end (Soumare was all over someone like the game was a testimonial) he looked visibly pissed and upset at the result.

Maybe wouldn't have to run as much, if he don't give it away every time he got it.

Soumare was having a good old laugh with his Arsenal mate, while downhearted City fans looked on.

Pawson is an away team ref, I saw an article the morning of the match and it showed that he awards more in favour of the away team than the home team.

For me one of the defenders probably Souttar or Faes.
