Looking On The Bright Side

It’s been a shite time for us lately but let’s look on the bright side if we go down. Add your pros and cons.

Mine are:

Pros:

1st: We will know which players are committed to our football club next season it will sort out the loyal from the disloyal.

2nd The plastics will leave freeing up seats for locals out on a Saturday afternoon to go enjoy a game if they want too like the good old days.

3rd More games to watch or listen too in the week especially in the winter months. 

Cons:

None. It’s just one big money racket that’s taken the enjoyment of the game from the people.

I agree. The money has become ridiculous in the game. Yes, footballers have short careers and need to be paid reasonably well, but it's just seemed to breed complacency with most of our players. They draw weekly pay packets that are often at least three times most of the fans' yearly salaries for producing this arrogant, lifeless dross every week. Our previous relegation seasons have at least been reasonably entertaining at times, but this has been downright awful from the first game and money is largely to blame.

We are not there yet - we don’t have to go down. We could at least try to avoid the drop, but that  won’t happen unless we make major changes in the next couple of days.

More chance of away tickets

Easier to park

Easier to get a drink pre and post game

More roomTo Pee at half time.

Less plastics and tourist fans.

Lower expectations or Fans with a sense of entitlement.

More enjoyment of watching the Premier league on TV without feeling affected.
