Not sure of the criteria, for example, players in the olden days couldn't match todays athleticism, but were good in the day.

Kasper - shot stopper supreme, leader.

Ricardo - before lockdown, Ricky was absolutely lethal bombing down the right, excellent tackler too. Energy that could lightup the whole city.

Evans - he's like a nasa geek regards organising, quietish but would perfectly compliment...

Walsh...this chap, who will run through every brick wall in front of him if it means winning.

Justin - extremely underated, never let city down, can play LB no problem, even with desperate injuries, he keeps going, qualified for England with city.

Tielamans - bags of energy, can find a killer pass, can score incredible goals from an unadvanced position. Teams need a Tielamans. FA Cup Winner.

Kante - more energy that the electric grid, one of the 3 main players that won the title, first season in a different country, excellent tackler and ball winner, magic.

Mahrez - he's got that twinkle in the eye you don't know what he'll do, just edged past Steve Lynex but only just.

Madisson - on his day he can open almost any door, excellent passer, you're on the front foot with him and thats the best for of defence.

Izzet - one of city's best ever players, ooodles of skill, lots of energy, good passer and link-up play. Had he been at a Liverpool or a man utd, he would of played for England he WAS that good.

Vardy - when Vardy finishes at Leicester, there will be the greatest, loudest and noisest round of applause you will ever hear. The term edge of seat should be on his headstone, as he lifted people, he lifted other players, his energy and desire galvinated tens of thousands of people to BELIEVE. Jamie Vardy IS Leicester City. He scores when he wants. The 11th in a row V Man Utd, that Liverpool goal, the brace at West Brom, these were moments that created unimaginable terror in opposition defences.

Subs, Shilton, Fofana, Lennon, Claridge, Heskey

What they did for city, how they influenced games, made impacts, and how they would gell together, is my criteria.

I mean it’s a very good 11, but I feel you missed the criteria for entry but; none of the players have played in the same team.

Of players I've actually seen, and without googling...

Muggleton

Rowett Maguire Fofana Thatcher

Draper Kante Cambiasso

Joachim Heskey Knockaert

Hate to be that guy but Joachim and Heskey played together and Rowett and Thatcher may have done aswell.

Yup, I saw 30 mins at Millwall away of Joachim and Emile up front. I thought then it was a front 2 of dreams. Martin ONeil thought otherwise.  Draper played with JJ all season.

Yeah, I remember looking back at that and thinking what if. I forget how much I loved Joachim as it seems a different lifetime.

Pretty sure Rowett and Thatcher were separated by a season in the Championship. You're right about Joachim and Heskey... and Draper!

Take 2

Muggleton

Rowett Hobbs Maguire Thatcher

Cambiasso Kante Tielemans

Knockaert Hume

Heskey

McAuley was a good player. It is weird, but you kind of forget about any good players during those few years leading to relegation.

Strange to call Rowley a dinosaur but call up Dougan. Dougan was playing for Portsmouth while Rowley was still at Leicester. Their careers overlapped by quite a few years and were essentially from the same era. It’s just that Dougan is remembered mostly for his time later in his career at Wolves in his 30s.

Understand your point but Arthur was born in 1926 and Derek 1938 so peak years were a distance apart.

Exactly. I wasn't born when the Doog played for us but I remember him playing for Wolves in the 70s and for being a panellist on World Cup broadcasts.

This is really difficult.

Ward

Nish

Black

Fitzpatrick

Appleton

Izzet

McAllister

Revie

Lineker

Vardy

Earle

It's a bit attack-tastic, and Paul Fitzpatrick is only there because I needed a defender who probably hadn't played with anyone else in the team.

I started with Vardy and then just worked backwards. It would have been a lot easier without Vardy and Izzet, but I wanted them both in.

And some stats nerd will probably now tell me that actually Don Revie and Gary McAllister played together in a Texaco Cup game at Hartlepool...

Fair play for having a team that includes Vardy, wipes out a crazy chunk of possible players.
