ALC Fox Posted 29 August 2023 Share Posted 29 August 2023 Was good when the team were good, but wasn't good enough when we were bad. Probably suffered in a team whose mentality was destroyed by BR and probably didn't help that his eye socket was smashed to bits at one point too. Not brilliant at playing the offside trap and didn't communicate well with Danny Ward on several occasions last season. But he's good in possession when going forward and is a direct runner off the ball. Isn't a bad passer and likes a good low cross. I don't think he's been all bad for us but didn't really do much to not be let off the hook with the relegation. The money will come in handy and he's not the kind of player for Maresca's system.
