Round One will include all 72 teams of the EFL (which includes us!). The draw takes place on Thursday 22nd June 14:30 (live on Sky Sports).

Looking at which teams are in the Championship next season and assuming they split them equally between North and South.....

 

10 are clearly to the north of us

10 to the south, if we assume that includes Norwich

....leaving us, Cov, Baggies & Birmingham in the middle

 

Could go either way depending on their criteria, but maybe more likely to be in the northern section?

We're usually in the northern section aren't we.

Thought we'd dodge having to play in the 1st Round, but it makes sense with the number of Premier League clubs in Europe now.

 

Sometimes leads to a good away day though, loved Macclesfield away in 2009.

 

Hopefully to that end we'll be in the northern section.

On that basis we'd be north. I'm pretty sure however it's not seeded at all now so it'd be if we're in the top 36 northern teams of the 72.

Imagine a world where they show it like that for premier league Saturdays 

 

It would reduce gates at games possibly but people would definitely pay for that
