Glover definitely seems to get off light and I appreciate it may be others signings in some instances but he's overseen an absolute pile of dung coming through the gates of Seagrave

Matt Piper's been calling him out as not good enough for weeks now on the radio. It's very unusual for him to single out players, but it's been a consistent point amongst his (very good) rants and forensics.

Only got ourselves to blame, neither him or Soumare we're here under last season's success and both were drafted back into the first 11 back in the PL, if Enzo were still here they wouldn't even be in the squad and rightly so, both ****.

I mean it's worked with Hermansen but Kristiansen is the most expensive player to ever leave the Danish league. We overpaid, spent weeks getting what should've been a straight forward deal done and he's turned out rubbish as well.

 

He's been a massive letdown for me. I thought he'd be a lot better.

Not all will be hits. Denmark is channeling/exporting a lot of foreign and domestic talent these days and prices go up as a result. Kristiansen isn't the most expensive however, not even top 5. Where did you get that from?

The most expensive to leave the Danish league directly, have there been more then?

Haraldsson, Sørloth, Sulemana, Harder, Osman, Oskarsson and Nuamah (in ascending order) have all reportedly gone for more.

Yeah most of them did having looked it up. At the time he might well have been as some of those happened more recently. Still think we got done personally though by piss poor negotiation which is the norm under this regime and have any of the others been as poor as he has?

 

Hermansen looks a bizarre fumble from Brondby, and a rare bit of good work from us.

I said the season we signed him he wasn’t ready and was no better than Thomas. 
 

He needs to go as he’s not cut out for this league. If we aspire to be better, then keeping him for the championship Is not a long term solution. 
 

He didn’t want to be here last season, as he didn’t want to play as part of the Enzo system. He is more one footed than KDH and has one single out ball. He lacks the technical ability required at this level and unfortunately that isn’t going to change. His positional sense with the rest of the defence is all wrong and we have gaps everywhere, even more so with this weird system RVN has tried to play with Thomas as a left centre back. 
 

Recoup some Money and move him on.

Yeah, I think you're right. We probably thought we could iron out the issues, but I don't think circumstances at the club have helped his situation.

Another on the long list of poor recruitment post-Walsh.

One thing that particularly annoys me about Kristiansen is, he's honestly one of the best crossers of the ball at the club - whips them in low and hard. Been crying out for that for years with pacy forwards who aren't blessed with height.

 

Problem is, he's so shit he's never in a position to do it. Last time I can actually remember him doing one and positively affecting the game was the first game of the season vs spurs, just before Vardy's equaliser. 

 

Perhaps it would be a decent weapon against Championship opposition. But i want him nowhere near the team next season, considering he already ran away once on loan when faced with a season in the second tier.

He’s not good enough for the level we’re temporarily at. He knows that, we know that. But, unlike Coady, Vestegaard & some others, he’s saleable. We can & will get £5-10M for him this summer from some European team, & if we had a competent DOF, we’d snatch their hands off at any bid in that range. Unfortunately, our DOF turned down £4M for Iverson and £10M for, ahem, McAteer…
