Saw that on the Liverpool page.

Any idea when the tickets will come on stream? And how many tickets will be allocated. Looking for 3, we have 3 fox memberships but no away points, what would our chances be of getting 3 for this fixture?

They usually give a good number for the cup and the anfield trip a couple of years ago got to members. You don’t need away points, just providing you’ve a membership. I can see a big chance of them getting to members being sandwiched between Norwich and Blackburn..

Liverpool are still working on the stand where away fans are kept so I wonder if we'll get a smaller allocation so they can fit more home fans in.

Yeah looks like it'll just be the bottom tier open. The good news is that every seat has a good view though, so that'll be a nice change lol

*FYI this is the reason for no ticket info yet, at present builders are still on site, but the company that owns them are in administration, so if they go pop so does the building work.

Just to add to the above, Buckingham officially went pop today so Liverpool will need to apoint a new contractor.

Very likely just the lower tier open for the cup game and as others have said that may mean they just have a small corner behind the goal for away fans to allow for home fans behind the goal also. As has been the case for their home prem games this season.

It'll probably still be a couple of thousand though as the lower tier now goes significantly further back than previously.

With these box holders/corporate gigs, is there anything to stop them saying they want say 10 adults and 10 senior tickets? Is there a limit?

I've only seen one of these forms once at an old workplace and i'm pretty sure there was a strict limit (2 or 4 something like that). I was quite last minute though it was the QPR game last up in the great escape season so was already pretty well sold.

Got to laugh haven't you, quite often we've taken allocations of about 2k or so in a place that'd offer us 3k but this one we take the 5.5k lol don't think we'll get close to hitting that to be honest at that price.

It's a shame that this will probably hit Blackburn numbers a bit.

There was a time when we were gagging for ties like this and we always just drew Cardiff away.  Totally understand particularly at those prices why losing to Liverpool's B team isn't appealing!  Another easy one for me in Merseyside though so can't complain too much.
