Choudhury was man of the match, and great displays by Winks, and Dewsbury-Hall

Feel like the winks and Vestergaard ratings are a little harsh. The way those two control the games for us is a little under appreciated I think. Vesty completed 136 passes from 145, that’s just a crazy amount of responsibility on his shoulders, even if a lot of them are short and simple passes it still requires so much awareness, control, disciple and skill to be able to do it to that level for the entire match and it’s a very similar story for winks.

 

They both earned an 8 in my eyes. Lots of people have said how comfortable the game felt and that came from those 2.

If he's with the Mercury, he probably didn't even see or listen to the match. More likely just spoke to someone or copied their work like the rest of them.

TBF, their office is the size of a broom cupboard and consists of just 8 actual journalists these days. When you think of the size of the Merc offices in the 90s and millions spent on doing it up and rebranding the paper its an incredible downgrade.

Is that 8 actual journalist for the whole newspaper or just sport? Journalism locally to me is about talking to people and getting a  'scoop', not merely researching and copying other people's work.
