Maybe mentioned in the Twitter thread recently? I think the "administrative issues" were basically that we would have had to pay USG £250k for development compensation or something, but we weren't prepared to, as he left the club because his brother (his agent?) wasn't happy with their trying to send him out on loan to a 3rd tier Belgian side or something like that.
moore_94 Posted 7 January Share Posted 7 January (edited) Has only played the equivalent of about 20 matches since the start of last season But he does at least look to be quite effective and gets about a lot when he does play Edited 7 January by moore_94 2
kingfox Posted 7 January Share Posted 7 January Used mainly as a sub for Rennes, he had a couple of decent cameos in the first couple of months of the season, but has done very little since. We’re probably interested due to his dribbling ability in 1 vs 1 situations, but his dribbling can be very hit and miss. He’d probably do well at Championship level, but I don’t see a Premier League quality player in him...not yet anyway.
StriderHiryu Posted 7 January Share Posted 7 January "Welcome to Arsenal" In most of these clips he is playing as a left winger. We need backup for Mavididi, if not now, for next season. So if we were looking for an understudy / rotation option, this profile isn't the craziest to be linked with.

Sly Posted 8 January Share Posted 8 January https://getfootballnewsbene.com/feyenoord-join-leicester-city-lorient-and-toulouse-in-race-to-sign-moroccan-talent-ibrahim-salah-from-rennes/?utm_content=cmp-true Feyenoord join Leicester City, Lorient and Toulouse in race to sign Moroccan talent Ibrahim Salah from Rennes According to L’Équipe, Feyenoord are interested in signing Moroccan talent Ibrahim Salah from Rennes. The current Eredivisie champions are the next side to have registered an interest in Salah after FC Lorient, Toulouse, Brest, Leicester City and Olympiacos. Ibrahim Salah has featured just 24 times in Ligue 1 since his €6.5m move from Gent in January 2023. The 22-year-old can play anywhere across the front line and still hasn’t been used enough in an underachieving Rennes side. Feyenoord have already made contact with Rennes, who are willing to let the Belgian-born talent leave on loan this month. Salah made a remarkable impact for Rennes at the start of the season, as he scored a brace during his seven minute cameo in their opening game of the season against FC Metz. Since November 12th, he’s played just thirteen minutes of football in Ligue 1. Feyenoord could do with some extra attacking threat, as they’re struggling to replicate last season’s incredible title charge. Arne Slot’s side are currently second in the Eredivisie table, ten points off PSV Eindhoven in top spot. If they want Ibrahim Salah’s signature, they’ll have to fight off competition from several other top sides.
AjcW Posted 8 January Share Posted 8 January Some good teams in for him. I'll always be a bit sceptical about someone from USG not going to Brighton if they are truely good enough though.
