What a drive from Hulkenberg!

Just hope he doesn't get punished by the stewards who are investigating  him for something.

EDIT: Got a 3 place grid penalty.

Congratulations to McLaren and nice to see Sainz and Hamilton finish on a good note .

Shame about Kmag's final race. Unreal first lap and got screwed over by a slow pitstop and Bottas not giving two poops. Feel his old-school style will be missed.

What is the relevancy and importance of post season testing?  I can appreciate the usefulness for drivers joining new teams to get a chance to try out the cars and provide feedback into design for next season cars along with trialling rookies.    Are there any more technical reasons?

Mainly for Pirelli's benefit to test tyres rather than the teams.

Didn’t yuki out qualify him in every race?

Nearly and lapped faster over the season in races.

They didn't want him though.

You're making the assumption Red Bull would ever want a driver to actually compete with Max.

Or someone who might speak out against them..

Mind you as I say Lawson has had a few brushes and clashes so far.

Thing is Max is undoubtedly incredibly fast, I don’t think there would be any danger of many if any drivers on the grid outperforming him over a season so why don’t they just get the fastest guy available next to him? If you had a guy who was competitive with max this year they’d have walked the constructors and the prestige and financial reward of that must outweigh any potential albeit unlikely in team struggles.
