'Never meet your heroes' - The back story of UFS meeting Andy King

I had the fortune via a friend knowing him to meet Andy King outside of Wembley stadium before the FA Cup Final, despite the obvious concerns of Covid at that time he was very generous with the leicester fans

My favourite ever player, sometimes it’s not the best but the coincidence of the situation when you are younger and you can see a good, honest player giving it their all for your club.

One of those truly rare instances of a person giving everything for a cause and actually being rewarded in full for it.

There from the bottom to the very top - and no one more deserving of a goal in front of the home fans on PL trophy lifting day.

Thank you, Kingy.

Just in case anyone doesn't click the link and thinks otherwise, it is all good the description  of meeting Andy King was positive.

The thread title and OP in this thread doesn't really make that clear.  lol

He'll be the only player ever to win league 1, championship and Premier League winners medals

Unless Man City are demoted of course due to their dodgy finances

He seems like a genuinely nice chap….

I had no idea that he was our highest scoring midfielder…. Interesting!

Wasn’t there a pic of him reading FoxesTalk on his laptop?

Would have loved it if he won the FA Cup with us too, even if it was a 1 minute cameo in the final.

Up there with Vardy in LCFC legendary status.

A bit more low profile but nonetheless a devoted player for us.
