That Widnes thing is cos a 18 yr old ground hopper who likes to be over spoken on Twitter got punched by a 16 yr old.

The victim/loudmouth has been banned from four clubs across this season alone.

Thought Sudbury were very competitive Vs Kettering today. Good to see home-grown Luca Miller get the winner. Thought he was quality when he came on.

Went Ashby 6 Lincoln 2 today. Back at NFU and now beaten 1st & 2nd at home. Looked a good side for the level today. Brilliant moment past final whistle when City’s winner went in and everyone cheering in different groups

Boro win 7-1 at Lutterworth Athletic, 345 in attendance no guessing where most fans were from as last home game, Lutterworth only attracted 45.

Lucky result, not one legit goal. But what we expect

Fair play to both clubs yesterday as well. Lincoln brought a good 50 to 60 and they were passionate. However they were also dignified in defeat and some of their officials made a point of telling players how well they had played.

They are in the midst of improving the ground but it meant my brother had to change his baby in the actual changing rooms during the second half.

Whilst Lincoln’s manager turned around to my dad upon half time at 4-0 down and said ‘I think we might just have to go and have a chill out’

They were, but I think that was down to our profligacy. If we’d nailed 2 or 3 in the first it’d have been a decent story - but the team never seemed to know where Edward’s was despite his intelligent runs. And vouchers for the Cobblers match really dragged out the part-timers!:D

To be fair, I don't have anything against the way the club are rolling out the vouchers. They have to maximise as much money as they can. The reusable cups should have been implemented years ago; they have the same format at Rugby Town.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the Cobblers game but it's great to actually see the team (and club) thriving. I've been following them for 3 seasons now and it's brilliant to see the atmosphere surrounding the club change. Last two years have been a morgue in comparison.

Tuesday ought to be a tasty game!

That doesn’t surprise me in the slightest with Lutterworth’s manager and set of players

I know they are top but they are boring to watch, real flat track bullies.

Crowds are dropping down there aswell. They really need to sort their social media side of things out and give more regular update on things.

Very apparent that the case today. Done 2-0 by St Neots, throughly outplayed. Decent crowd however.

Just back from Grantham 1 RC Warwick 4.

Yet another humiliating defeat.

Grantham are worse than the sum of their parts. Good individual players but it just isn't working.

Could be worse though, Rugby 1-0 up at half time and concede 5 in 9 minutes eventually losing  6-1.

Just back from North Ferriby v Ashington......another defeat for The Colliers and only able to name 2 on the bench due to injuries....Really need a win and soon!

Boro win 4-1 over Cradley Town to go back top of the league, 402 in attendance with Lee Carsley in attendance again! i take he's come to watch his son Callum... don't think England are getting that desperate for choices... though Trevor Edwards is having a decent season for the Boro.

walsall wood resign.

Club statement

Walsall Wood FC resigns from the league with immediate effect.

It is with deep regret that Walsall Wood FC announces its resignation from the NPL Midlands Division, effective immediately. Despite the unwavering dedication and hard work of our volunteers, we have reached a point where we are unable to sustain the first team due to insufficient funds and a lack of communication from Justin Hodgin over the past four weeks.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the league committee members for their support and understanding during these challenging times.

We want to emphasise that our grassroots section, which includes both boys' and girls' teams competing across several leagues (SGLFL, MJPL, JPL, MSJYL, and WJYL), remains strong and vibrant. This section will now take control of the club's operations, for the foreseeable future, working closely with our dedicated volunteers to ensure a viable Men's first team structure returns to Walsall Wood FC.

Walsall Wood FC is proud to run several FA initiatives, including Comets, Just Play, Wildcats, and Squad Girls, which continue to engage and inspire our local community. We remain committed to providing a positive environment for young players and will work diligently to ensure the club remains a valuable asset to the community.

Thank you for your continued support during this challenging time. We look forward to a new chapter for Walsall Wood FC focused on our grassroots development and community engagement.
