He could have not run backwards completing ignoring the goal scorer and playing him onside. The pass to him was terrible but to say he could do nothing is untrue

I love watching plucky underdogs in international tournaments. You can see how much it means to them. Ability wise this is a mismatch but Belgium never seem up for the fight imo
