Chris Davies our old assistant manager has been appointed Birmingham City manager.

Birmingham's article announcing him state 'leading PL clubs like Liverpool and Swansea'

Don't mention us lol

Macaulay Langstaff has accepted the role of club captain ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Our number nine, who finished as the EFL’s top scorer last season, will be supported by vice-captain Matt Palmer at the head of a newly-formed leadership group.

So, both our signings so far play as central defenders.

Hearing good things about Platt(from Bradford) and very good things about Bedeau(from Morecambe).

Those two, along with Macari, will hopefully help fix the horror show that was our back line the last couple seasons.

@spacemunky Other Notts County fans seem quite surprised he got a League One move?

I don't think 'surprised' is the word lol

He barely played in our promotion season and I don't recall him playing at all this past season.

Good for him though.

We've been pretty busy, so far!

Crawley Town’s promotion-winning wing-back, Nick Tsaroulla, has joined us on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year.

The 25-year-old leaves West Sussex as a club legend having endeared himself to Red Devils supporters over the course his four-year spell at the Broadfield Stadium.

Another one lol

Jason was one hell of a player when he was younger, unfortunately he's struggled with knee issues for long periods. Will be an interesting one to watch next season Burton.

It's not a good look, but also since when do the EFL bosses decide where clubs play their friendlies? Is it their way of trying to wrangle control of things like finances and costs for EFL clubs?

EDIT: never mind, just realised it's in relation to their League One game, and not a friendly lol

This is not a good look for either set of owners. Wondered how long it would be till sometime like this happened, with less eyes on in league 1

Mad that they've had to ask Birmingham for a comment considering someone at the club must have already told the reporter that this happened.

It would be more worthwhile, revenue-wise, for it to happen at that level rather than the Premier League which didn't need it.

But it should never happen. If successful it would distort everything and the principle of it is totally wrong.

71 goals in two seasons will be difficult to replace.

Any idea of the fee range? I know it’s listed as undisclosed but hopefully you’ve received at least a decent 6figure sum.
