He’s learning and gaining greater experience without affecting his own game. His output is approx the same of say El Khannous, the best of our own and we aren’t say Bilal should be dropped

Southampton will be able to get a good fee for Dibling in the summer as well

tyler dibling is classic example of what goes wrong when starting too early. looked good first third of the season then when it became clear how bad saints were he has faded into team mediocrity dragged down by his terrible teammates

As wild an assumption as I've ever read. You can't possibly know that he's started too early, his career would need to nose dive and even then would have to be evidenced he was effected by being played in the 1st team too early.

There's absolutely loads of examples of young players coming through and being the shining light in a period of doom and they go on to have sustained professional careers.

It’s no different to Anthony Gordon, came through at a terrible Everton side looked great but then lost all momentum because of how bad they were.  Eyebrows were raised when he moved to Newcastle but proved that he was the talent everyone had suspected. His carer, development or anything else was not hindered because he played in that dog sh*t team at all.

Bobby Amartey called up to Ghana U20’s and apparently is a nephew of Daniel Amartey even tho I thought they wasn’t related.

Wales U21 Ex-Foxes Matty Jones, really liked him and think he would have been something special if not for his injury forcing him to retire aged 23, glad he’s managed to carve a career in football 👍

How long have we had Seagrave?

Dare I say its paying dividends now for the upcoming surge of youth talent? So many highly rated players.

Forget the first team for a minute, but it seems there's going to be a lot of 'pure profit' coming our way in the next few seasons. Whatever division we're in that is...

do we know where these kids have come from?  Remember we were promoted back to the PL in 2015 and we’re suddenly much higher profile than for a considerable time. so we become a better draw for kids in the 7/11 bracket.  Perhaps the improvement in teenage talent coincided with us becoming the destination club in the area rather than the quality of the facilities.

Surely the pure size of Seagrave puts us in a better position to pick up youngsters for the academy, I don’t mean facility wise just space.

Before maybe we could only accommodate (just picking numbers here) 80 young kids but now we can accommodate twice or 3 times that number, ergo raising the potential of producing 2 or 3 times the number of profitable assets & future stars.
The actual facilities then play a major part in keeping them there.

Maybe just a timing issue...?or maybe we just became a bigger draw post PL title success?

Either way, it doesn't always translate into them making the grade professionally .

in my nephews age group several years ago at LCFC, they had 8 players who had played at U16 international age group levels.....NONE of them made it into a PL team and only 2 of them still play professionally to my knowledge, although i suspect a few more may have made it with better coaching and pathway development at U18 and U23 level

U18s threw away a 2 goal lead in the last 20 mins to draw 2-2 away at Fulham.

Hutchinson bagged yet again.

Feels good to have a few attacking players in the academy doing well

Might be BS but apparently we’ve taken 19 year old UAE Goalkeeper, Abdulla Alhammadi on trial was recently at Everton
