Why when someone has what looks like a serious injury do fans of other football clubs have to put “from a Villa fan”. Just wish him well shouldn’t matter what team you support.

Looked tight that .

Still seemed to take a long time .

It was tight and this is why I'm in the minority that believe these goals should stand. I understand the fact that offside is offside even by a toe but I totally prefer the rule as it was back in the 80s and 90s. If the body of the defender covers by majority the attacker's it shouldn't be offside.

I know it's not the most prestigious trophy nowadays but a Newcastle V Spurs cup final would be pretty decent. Both massive underachievers in the last 30 years

Can lead to so many grey areas though, and how is a linesman meant to see that in real time?

A Tottenham v Newcastle final would be a weird one given both clubs' allergies to trophies. They'll probably both lose.

Even if Liverpool don't score tonight there's no way they can defend a 1-0 at Anfield. They'll be down 3-0 in the first 30mins.

Like they did back then? I know the sport is much quicker now but you can still spot in real time if a defender covers partially an attacker. It's also easier to implement such rule now with the use of VAR.
