5. Capitulation and pay selling club  way over the odds and pay player around double what anyone else was going to, (who's then bullied by his agent who are on a massive whack from us,  and player reluctantly signs for us)

Leicester City have made an offer for Alexis Saelemaekers, claim reports in Italy, and are not at all far away from the Milan asking price, so could give up on Matias Soule of Juventus.

 

 

Milan purchased the Belgian from RSC Anderlecht for a total €10.9m in 2020 on a contract that expires in June 2026.

They are asking for more or less the same sum, and he had also been linked with Atalanta.

He had flashes of brilliance, scoring 10 goals and providing 14 assists in 140 competitive games, but very little consistency.

I’m struggling to remember much about him from his Milan games but the Milan fans I know love his attitude and think he’s very skillful. They say he lacks a bit of strength that could take him to the next level.

Keeps the maths easy 

1 goal every 14 games, 1 assist every 10.

He exactly. Knew Soule was too good to be true for us (tbf, he’s probably just too expensive).

As I’ve said in other threads, If it means we get a less good winger to then have the money to buy a proper number 10, then I’m happy with this outcome.

 

Just hope it is the case that we get that special number 10
