Still not starting Alves is just criminal. His excuse its about getting minutes in to players playing out of position is rubbish as had we got an ACM in earlier they'd be playing instead of Choudhury in the 10 role. Pathetic.

It’s utterly bizarre from him. What on earth can he be thinking. Absolutely not what I was expecting Cooper’s team selections to be like at all and really disappointing for sure

It's not criminal if Alves isn't going to feature much this season. Cooper would be a decent judge of young players and sees him enough in training.

I hope that this is the reason rather than Cooper thinking that is a good line up. By now we should be having our strongest line up getting used to each other and the tactics, not cardio for shit players we can’t sell.

He could have put McAteer in as a 10 / AM today instead of Choudhury. Awful midfield, guarantee there’ll be multiple posts on the match thread of Ndidi and Choudhury running into each others way and Daka utterly adrift and not in the slightest involved in the game.
