Let's face it, they aren't top 4 quality by some distance. That's becoming clearer now.

They're also really vulnerable if they don't score first or early. Their game plan is so dependent on scoring the first goal, which they've done a lot this year and simply not surrendered leads, that you can see them panicking if the first goal doesn't come by the hour mark.

If they concede first, they go to pieces. Absolutely spanked at Manchester City and Bournemouth, a 4-3 loss at Newcastle flattered them and conceded two quick fire goals at Villa last week.

They are sixth in the form table now just as Villa, Man City and Chelsea form the top three. But the latter is what the truly top sides do - pull it out of the bag when the chips are down and rise to pressure.

as you said, look at the teams around them too, Newcastle have a couple of games in hand too, Toon win them and theyll go 3rd on 59 points, so if they win against Utd today then against Palace on Wednesday theyll go 3rd

the thing that might go in forest's favour is the fact some of the teams around them have to play each other too

think in the end theyll finish 5/6

Hopefully forest completely fluff it up before then because I don’t trust Chelsea to get a result

We learned to our costs that top teams become top teams because they step up when it counts. I remember Liverpool looking dead and buried in the 20-21 season until Alisson grabbed a last minute winner at West Brom.

These teams are accustomed to the pressure of a run-in, the high expectations and competing in multiple tournaments at the same time. We weren't in 2021, and that was with a more capable team with several members of the 2016 title win still in it.

Our away support has been shit for longer than 3 months hasn't it.

Judging from your statement you have been a regular away fan for a considerable time then?

glad wolves are winning tbf, just rather get it all confirmed

Agreed i actually think we may perform better with pressure off. Plus puts some players in the shop window if they show off well. If only daka can score a hat trick from somewhere... just so someone will buy him lol.
