The Villa controversy almost certainly means Forest are going to shit house a flukey late equaliser to get in the Europa League. Guaranteed.

Absolutely guaranteed.

Successful season I'd say.

The standard of world football is at a low. Hardly any so called 'world class players' and it says every thing when Messi and Ronaldo are still getting the headlines when they are pushing 40.

Not one the club winning teams beat any 'peak' teams from years gone by.

I totally agree with you. Ronaldo and Messi are the last of individual brilliance. Which is why Monga is so exciting, but, you know full well he will get plucked by Man City in the summer and be turned into another boring sideways passing player.

Pep is completely to blame for what modern football has become….. just boring, unimaginative, unexciting football with every bit of individuality beaten out of a player.

I long to see some high intensity, all out energy, in your face football.

Football quality is very low in the majority of leagues in Europe. Boring passing side to side and backwards. Players rolling on the pitch after every touch, moaning to the refs like 5yrs old children etc.

Serie A had the most enjoyable games imo (yes the Italians managed to improve their football) and then it was the French one and some teams in Germany were fun to watch. That's it. Premier League quality of football was the worst of the big 5 leagues by far.

Half the league will be in Europe next season what a pile of shite

Putting odds on that Liverpool go all season without having a 3pm Saturday kick off because of it and United still end up bottom half.

So a possible 9 teams in Europe next season?

bet Sky are laughing as they are allowed to show all 2pm kick offs on a Sunday as part of the new deal next season

It was probably why they were bragging that they have 215 live games next year up from 125 due to all the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday fixtures.

Say what you like about out title celebrations, there’s a long, long, long way to go before any team surpasses ours -

Andrea Bocelli’s not for everyone.

That’s part of the new deal, they will have at least 215 live games next season, all the 2pm sundays will be allowable extras on top of that

If this is even heard it'll be laughable.

They half stayed up due to an officiating error.

We missed out on CL due to Man City's financial 'cheating'.

The sourest of grapes. Embarrassing.

I hope he goes to Forest...

Nuno to Roma.

Röhl to us.

Martin to them.

Make sure you are back first game to back the lads as Russell’s mighty foxes complete 700 passes, take your position in the king power bowl revel in the atmosphere with your clap banner, honesty flag and prematch flames

I agree I don’t see even with Europe how anyone bridges that gap. The traditional smaller clubs are quite good. I can’t see the bigger clubs being as poor. Maybe Forest could self destruct but others if they invest well, keep good managers will have no issues. For me Leeds defence is too leaky.

It's the post Messi/Ronaldo clarity. Nothing was gonna top the 2010-2020 era of peak football. So of course anything we see now is a downgrade.

tbf can understand it in a way with the Rodgers incident, as that was no way a foul or anything as the keeper didnt have the ball,

but as said already, theyve had their fair safe of var decisions going their way, that Sheff Utd "none goal" that was in which basically kept them in the league

think the main issue is the officials and VAR have been incredibly poor once again this season
