It was almost as if he'd mentally checked out. As with Tielemans, he knew he'd be moving (in his case, because of FFP), whether we stayed up or not.

He literally took it upon himself to take the penalty against Everton to win the game and got an assist for Vardys goal. The fact he subsequently missed that penalty doesn't back your statement up at all.

It was one of the most stupid decisions he made, and wasn't one made for any commitment reasons as there were better penalty takers on the pitch. Pretty sure he wanted his 'ball under the shirt and sucking thumb' picture as he had just announced his missus was pregnant.

They're probably fuming as well because Pereira should have been sent off before his goal.

think its fair to say the standards of officials is this country is getting worse by the season

both look like reds to me

Hard to tell on still images but that bottom one is a red for me. Potential keg-breaker.
