Great for footy that the Messi, Neymar, Mbappe Galaticos generation didnt win the European  Cup but the change in Sporting Director and ethos to a younger home grown legacy wins them the Cup in style.

It's almost a shame Barca didn't get through, as that would have been a great final. It was a miracle that Inter were able to get past them. Barcelona hammered them for the majority of the tie.

That was the most one sided CL final I’ve ever seen. Was inter ever in the game at any point? There was no contest.

 

PSG were very good and ruthless to a T.

enrique set them up to kill the game off in the first half. To double make sure they blitzed inter from the beginning of the 2nd half. You could see it in the faces of the inter players like they were shell shocked and punch drunk. They don’t know what just hit them.

 

Big Shame for inter but well done PSG.

PSG were a joy to watch under Luis Enrique and the young players ethos is a lot better than the superstar one but let's not pretend they are all products of their youth team or they did it organically. A lot of them were expensive purchases from other teams considering their age and unproven experience.
