No such team called Notts Forest!

Its Nott,m

Yep. It's in the old folk song that begins "If I had the wings of an eagle.."

and includes the line "I'd fly over Nottingham Forest..."

Doesn't really work using "Notts"

I've got to say I strongly disagree with this. The answer isn't having the back 4, it's playing the Enzo system!

Ricardo is a top class player and certainly could / should play in the starting XI. But if he does so, he should be in one of the double pivot positions and come in for Ndidi, who could move up and play as a CAM instead of El-Khanouss. The reason we won the Saints game is we went back to the system that worked in the Championship, a 5 man attack with 2 wingers. NOT two fullbacks.

Really looking forward to your take on today's game.

It certainly was interesting going to a back 3 and having Mav, Fatawu, Buonano and El-Khanouss all playing at the same time.

They're playing Palace...

Is it at all possible to find a scenario where both teams lose when playing each other???

Yeah I am looking forward to doing it for once! One of my favourite games for a long time, because of the stark contrast. I can see it coming on Monday as a result.

In the meantime, we did out Instant Match thoughts here:

Warning, at the start my mic is too loud mainly because I had just been screaming my head off after Jordan Ayew got the winner!

Wonder what your thoughts would be on Ayew being placed more centrally?

I'm far from convinced by him on the wing, but can't help but feel like he may have a place in the team if played correctly. I don't mean in place of Buonano, maybe as a better Vardy alternative than Edouard???

I've been thinking about a back 3 since the game ended.

Not sure how exposed we'd be on the wings against a better opposition though...

That team would get butchered

If I had the eyes of an eagle

If I had the arse of a crow

I'd prob'ly pick Abdul Fatawu

And also select Ricardo - cardo

He seems good as a player to bring on in the last 30 minutes of the game, either to see it out or get something from. He can play anywhere in the front line. What's his best position? I don't know! Palace fans said he was best on the wing, but had his best season playing up front. I think there are better starters, but he's a good squad option and has turned out to be a good purchase overall.

That team was the one that got us back to 2-2 today. That system was the one we used to win the Championship. The players clearly prefer it.

Would probably be better for us in the long run if they don't though.  Keeps Palace right in the shit.

Sorry but I just cannot get with having Vardy in goal and Mads up front!

Had a nosey on the florist fan forum earlier, they have a topic called “The demise of Leicester city” seems to get a lot of comments on it. Thought they didn’t care about Leicester 😂

Like the look of this starting line up! I’d play VK instead of JJ though.

If we had a different manager I think Ricardo with Winks and a back 3 of Faes, Vestergaard & Okoli would also work.
